Media Center - subtitles won't go away
I have permanent subtitles when I play a DVD with Media Center. If I turn on/off in Media Center I am controlling a different subtitle program and when ON I have two sets of subtitles. Same DVD when played with Media Player - I can turn on/off subtitles. The text of Media Player subtitles looks like that which I see in Media Center. Of course I leave Player set to OFF and go back to MedCtr and still see the subtitles.

No subtitles appear when using Media Center for live TV or TV playback.

All DVD's - same issue.

Changed DVD drive to new Blu-Ray drive and same issue.

PLease advise. Have searched internet to no avail.
