Multiple Monitors
I have been connecting my HP Laptop to my 42in 720p television and every time i do my resolution changes on my laptop screen and my icons get moved around. I am wondering if there is a way to set different propeties so that when I disconnect my TV the computer automatically goes back to its previous settings?

hi and welcome to TSG have you tried clicking on a empty space on your desktop and choose personlise then display settings you can set up yor tv as a second monitor, also if you have it on the left hand column connect to a external device
