Smile IE8 Script errors
I am getting several IE8 script errors.
One is: on Line 242, Char 3, Error: g_logger
another is: Line 30, Char 3, some sort of DLL file problem.
another is: Line 243, Char 3, Error: g_logger is undefined

I have a new Dell Inspiron with Windows Vista Home Premium & Service pack 2 is downloaded.

I am also currently getting a Window Defender error 0x800106ba on start up. I have not be able to uninstall & reinstall this as it is wrapped up in Vista. Not sure if this is related.

All this seemed to start when I tried downloading & installing the "Verizon Online DSL With MSN Priemium" on this new computer. It worked for a few days, then disappeared & all I get is a aqua colored box on start up. I'm not sure if this is compatable with Vista. I immediately did a system restore which did NOT work. I have searched high & low for a solution that will work.

I have only had this computer for a few weeks & can't believe how much trouble I'm having.

Any help sent my way would be greatly appreciated.

Windows defender error
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/931849

Open IE and go to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced Tab>Browsing section and be sure both script debugging boxes are checked, hit OK. This should stop the script error notifications.

Download the latest version of the Verizon software to a location that is easy to find, then go go to control panel>programs and features and uninstall the verizon software.
Reboot the PC
Now reinstall the software by right clicking on it and select run as administrator.
