I'm using dial-up on windows 7, and I randomly get disconnected. This is frustrating at times, sometimes I just want to pull my hair out when I'm downloading a big file and it disconnects, as if it wasn't bad enough that I'm even on dial-up.

There is a new driver update for my modem, but when it is installed, and I dial to the internet, it crashes upon dialing (BSOD). I'm pretty sure i just need a modified driver for my modem, or maybe just another driver that would work. I really doubt that this is Windows 7 itself, I do think it is the driver compatibility with Windows 7. I have used Vista and XP in the past, and never had these disconnect problems, so i know its not my ISP.

The manufacture of my Modem is Conexant.
