Vista "OS not found" + "no drivers were found"
Hi!

My Vista laptop has worked free from problems for a while but last day when I tried to normally boot it, it said "operative system not found" and "PXE-EX1; media test failure. check cable" and so forth.

And then, when I tried to re-install or perhaps restore Vista, when the "Where do you want to install Windows?" comes up, it says that "No drivers were found", altough they were in some weeks ago.

What should I do? Has my computer gone to inevitable death, or is there anything i can do?

it actually said "no drives were found"

Sounds like the hard drive died (most likely) or the data cable connecting it to the motherboard has gone bad, what make and exact model is the laptop?

Ah, okay, sorry. Well, I am not that handy with computers but it says:

Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Li 2732
Model: MS2228

If that is to any help at all.
