Networking to server
This is inconcievable but... i got a new system with Vista - it is setting here next to my old. When I go through the network to the files on the server from my old computer, the files are up to date BUT when I go through the network to the files on the server - the files have not been updated since February! Just got the new computer in August - no reason ANY files would show updated just to February. Sometimes folders don't show up - sometimes they do...

Basically, does Vista networking have some huge glitch in it or a difference from XP..

Smile Answer
I have figured out part of the problem - enough to call it solved. The Vista networked through 2 different paths - one of them works - where the other one finds data is still a mystery but I can use the right one and continue to work until i find time to figure out the "other" path.
