"Registry Access Denied"???
I am running windows vista..here lately when I right click certain files...JPGS...MP3..etc, instead of getting the quick menu to pop up I get a box that says "registry access denied", I have to click ok, then the quick menu comes up....I have scanned for spyware, etc, nothing seems to work...any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time

Can you access the registry editor.
In the run dialog box type "regedit" (without quotes) and press enter. What do you get.

Do you have administrative privelages. Although Windows Vista seems to go crazy all of the time. Can you give me any more examples so I can explain in a little more detail.
