HP LaserJet 1200 Error with Windows 7
Hi all,

I'm running Windows 7 Professional and I'm setting it up with an HP LaserJet 1200 that's connected to a Macintosh (OS 10.5) on my home network. Unfortunately, whenever I print, all that prints out is:

"PCL XL error
Subsystem: Kernel
Error: UnsupportedProtocol
Operator: 0x0
Position: 0"

I installed the printer with the HP Universial Printing PCL 6 driver, but I hear that the driver can be problimatic. I want to use the PCL 5 driver, but I can't figure out how to roll back the driver for this printer becuase it doesn't show up in my device manager, only under "Devices and Printers."

If anyone can tell me how to fix this problem (getting rid of this error or rolling back my drivers) I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks in advance,

Christian
