Whats Wrong with my Computer?
I have Windows Vista Home Professional. Yesterday, I shut down my computer before I slept. Today when I turned it on after school, the login screen did not appear. Its just the log in screen background and my mouse. It seems that it is very zoomed in (seeing that my mouse is now big) and I checked and made sure that there was no place to put your password and select your profile.

Could this be because of a routine update/virus scan?

What should I do? I'm leaving it for a while just to see what happens.

hi and welcome to the forum did you get to your desktop,can you check in device manager for any error flags ie yellow ! or red Xs,you could try system restore to a date when it was working with no issue
