I currently have windows xp installed, ubuntu 9.04 and tomorrow i am going to purchase some ram for my computer and once my comp is packing 2.5-4 gigs ram i want to run windows 7. I was wondering how the windows 7 bootloader works (if it even installs a new bootloader?) I don't want to reinstall my ubuntu and xp. Someone explain to me whats gonna happen when install windows 7 on it's on partition and i already have grub set as my default bootloader.
you can install windows 7 after ubuntu, but it will install it's bootloader. I have a multiboot of Windows 7 , linux , and xp. You can install windows 7, then repair grub.
