I have an unusual problem with windows vista, it keeps flickering and almost seems as though it keeps refreshing....stay with me...

e.g when i open start > programs > accessories the windows menu will just dissapear meaning i cant access some programs

e.g2! i go to rename a folder on my desktop and the screen flickers and i dont have time to type anything into the rename box

eg.3 when i have a normal windown open ie contaol panel it flickers around every 4 seconds

it is stopping me from completing tasks and is very annoying! please help
