Question Programs disappear from Start - All Programs Menu in Vista
I have a dual boot system with Vista Ultimate(E-Drive) installed on XP(C-Drive).Last week I installed AutoCAD 2007,but whenever I used to start the program from All Programs and AutoCAD folder instead of opening the program it used to open installation file again. So I tried to copy and paste the AutoCAD.exe icon from Program File folder in E-Drive(that's whee my vista is installed) into ProgramData Folder(which is a hidden folder) - Microsoft - Windows - AutoCAD, but I couldn't copy it there. So I performed the "Unhide" operation on ProgramData Folder and tried again but with no results. So I again did the "Hide" operation on ProgramData Folder. That was the mistake I thin and since then the almost all the installed and default programs on All Programs have disappeared.Even the paint and other utilities in Accessories foler, the default Windows Calender,Movie Maker,Gallery,Media Player etc have also disappered.I don't how to undo this and get those programs back on All Programs list. Please help.Thank You.
