This system, which runs 32-bit Vista Home Premium, came with Roxio Creator, which I used a few times to burn DVDs, before it started freezing every time I hit the "Burn" button. Assuming that the problem lay with that particular software, I deleted it and installed ULead MovieFactory, which to my consternation is doing the exact same thing Roxio was: it lets me add videos to my project, create the menus, etc., all without a problem, but at the final step, when I hit the "Burn" button, MovieFactory freezes in an eerie imitation of Roxio.

Since both software packages present the same problem, I can only assume the problems lies with Vista. I have no idea how to go about solving this and I would appreciate any help anyone could offer.
