Exclamation pc running slow, huge errors, dnt know how it happened
ill post more info as i gather it. heres my story:
The computer has been acting funny and running slowly, so I checked the drivers for updates, and updated one driver, the display driver. That was as far as I could get, because after that, everything went downhill. When I open some windows, the screen flashes and goes back and forth between different display settings, and gets stuck doing that. If I dont open the windows, the Windows Management Instrument malfunctions with the error ID c000009c. On top of those, the deskop error with appear, saying access is denied. They all happen randomly, and the only was to use the computer is to warm boot it and start in safe mode w/ networking. My first assumption is a compatability issue somewhere. I downloaded a Vista x64 recovery disk, but cannot format any disks to boot it in that fashion. I need some help at this point and have lost my A+ cert book so I have limited guidance on everything. Any suggestions?

Are you sure there are no viruses in the PC, cause it looks more like there is a virus in your pc than a compatibility issue. If there are no viruses I suggest booting in safe - mode and rolling back to your previous driver version, and if that still does not solve the problem, if you had installed any windows updates recently, roll back to the update versions prior to that and disable windows updates. And if this too does not work try re - installing windows with a bootable cd and if that too does not work ....... your computer is hell bent on making you shell out some dough so get ready !!!!!
