Unhappy Windows Vista- Acer
My Windows Vista Acer laptop will not open any programs. I've tried restarting it but it won't work. Does this mean it has a virus? Or is there something I can do about it?

try booting in safe mode
Tap F8 as it boots
you should see a menu
choose
safe mode

yes, we can try and load a HJT program and see if that will run and post the log here and check for virus
