Vista Business Login Issue
Hi I'm running a Dell XPS with Vista Business. Whenever I login to my user it accepts my password and says welcome, with the circle icon animating next to it, but it just hangs there. It's not frozen, because the icon keeps animating. So i turn it off by holding down the power button and start it up again. This time it asks me if I want to start in Safe Mode or not, but I usually start it up normally instead. This time it lets me log in but all the changes I make in this session will be gone when I restart the computer, and the whole problem starts over again. Any ideas why it hangs up in the first place?

(btw I am working across a network)

bump. Also i noticed that down in the system tray a message appears at startup telling me that my roaming user profile hasn't synchronized properly. Perhaps that is a clue?
