Downgrade to 32Bit?
Hey,
I have windows Vista on my laptop, and its 64Bit. I have been told many a time that this is better than the 32, faster and such, but how so?

I also have a beta version of windows 7 but its the 32 bit version. Is it worth downgrading to 32bit for it? How would one go about doing that?

Thanks

Do you know how much memory you have on that system? If its more than 3 gigs then you will lose the use of more than that; but depending on daily use, you most likely aren't using it anyway; but there's no chance of using it with 32-bit.

To move to a 32-bit system from 64 you need to do a clean install by booting to the Windows 7 disc and installing and replacing the Vista OS or installing to another partition if possible and having the choice of booting either to Vista or Windows 7 until you decide on one or the other, or until time runs out on Windows 7 trial period.
