I have a ToshibA300 Satelite Pro, running vista home premium.

The other day I was downloading photos off a memory card, but as it was downloading my pc turned off as battery ran out, when i put charger on the, as always I usually hit start from resume page.

But this time it booted and opened but the windows wont open up, just says please wait and hangs.

Have tryed to reboot through system F2 n F12 N F8, system restore, recovery etc etc but its still there, please wait n nothing else.

Have also unpluged the charger and taken the charger out from the back when turned off, but still no success, please can anyone help have tried allsorts with no succees, laptop has been fine since this has happened the laptop is only 4 months old.

take the battery out completely and leave for a while

do you have the recovery CDs at all ?
