Unhappy not working MAT****A DVD-RAM UJ-850S ATA drive
i have a toshiba Satellite A205 model # PSAF3U-ONROOV. i downloaded the new 9 itunes and lost my cd-dvd drive and went thru microsoft to have them fix the problem. they said that my MAT****A DVD-RAM UJ-850S ATA device was not working properly. what do i have to do? i don't know what that device is...any ideas would be appreciated!

thanks, i tried that but it still said that it was not working. i uninstalled itunes hoping it would help.

hey, i tried to do that, and when i did it said the device software was unsuccessful in installing. i have tried this before and it fixed itself with the microsoft software on the website. i don't know why it's not working now, but i guess you can't update your itunes since it has a different burner software.

the only problem i'm having with doing the system restore is that i want to take it back to a date in aug but i don't know how to do that with vista

Hi when in system restore there is a small check box on the lower left of the page to show update older than 5 days try that

i did that, but it would only let me go back to the date 11/12...any idea on how to push it back further?
