Windows 7 twice!
Hello,

Just installed windows 7 and have managed to put both windows 7 in 32 and 64 so when i start up i have a choice, what can I do and what harm is it? should I delete 32 which is not in use.

Presumably you have each installed on separate partitions? I am not sure why the suggestion is to reinstall the 64 bit, as you seem to have a perfectly good, brand new, installation anyway`?

You can delete the 32 bit entry from the boot manager. Easiest way is to open Msconfig - boot tab and do it from there. But, before you delete the windows 32 bit OS, you should check where the boot manager is sitting. If you installed the 64 bit last, then there should not be any problem. Otherwise, you will have to do a litle extra work to regain the boot manager - normally with the help of the original installation DVD.

But the answer to your question. If you have adequate space, then you could consider continuing with both installations. It cannot harm anything. Whilst you are using one or the other OS,s, the remaining one will not be using any resources, if that is what is troubling you.
