Vista black screen
Upon startup after the loading bar the screen goes black before the login screen. Nothing works here, Ctr+Alt+Del does not work at all.

I have tried

repair your computer
system restore
safe mode
safe mode with command prompt
last known good configuration
debugging mode
disable driver signature enforcement

All of these just take me back to the black screen with only the mouse showing up.

Every solution I have seen involves either using safe mode to get in and system restore or delete corrupt updates, or use command prompt. I am unable to use either of those because I cannot access safe mode nor the command prompt.

If there is anything that I can do please help.

Im having the same issue, Ive had it before. This time i removed and put back in one of my ram sticks and now it wont boot. If you want a solution i cant help you, i plan to bring my pc to a shop.

If you want a FIX, i can help you to get the data off your computer so you can reinstall windows from a boot cd.

Go to another computer and download Ubuntu, it is a free OS. Burn it to a CD. And boot from that CD on your messed up PC. IT should boot into a basic yet stable OS without you having to install everything. You can copy your files to an external HD or key, and then reinstall windows.

it sure would. just go into the harddrive and copy what you want to an external harddrive.

Right now my computer is running ubuntu. Im bringing it into get it check, should have a solution to the problem in 3 days max. I have a feeling it is faulty ram, or possibly a video card issue. If you want to avoid loosing your applications and setup, wait 3 days and ill have an answer for you.
