What other antivirus/antispyware/security programs do you have installed? Some programs will disable Windows Defender when they are installed since they may be doing the same job. | | Account Disabled with 241 posts. | | Join Date: Jul 2009 Location: sioux city iowa Experience: Intermediate | | ok, i have :malwarebytes, AVG Free, kaspersky, and spywareblaster, they dont react bad with each other, but maybe kaspersky is doing it....i bet its that but i dont know for sure.

You shouldn't have AVG installed if you have Kapersky - too much protection is just as bad as not enough.
No I don't listen 3 6 Mafia, never even heard of it. | | Account Disabled with 241 posts. | | Join Date: Jul 2009 Location: sioux city iowa Experience: Intermediate | | lol ok. and really? well ok and i dont have kaspersky's AV, i have the virus removal tool. sorry i confused you lol. kaspersky dont mess with AVG, i looked that up =)

I would say better leave it off. | | Account Disabled with 241 posts. | | Join Date: Jul 2009 Location: sioux city iowa Experience: Intermediate | | ok thanks =) i might get rid of AVG, because i need to open windows defender in order to go to "add and remove programs" but i might just put up with it lol

#11 | You defintitely don't need Windows Defender to access Add/Remove Programs. Thats found in the Control Panel. In Vista its called Programs and Featires if you have the classic layout in teh Control Panel. | | Account Disabled with 241 posts. | | Join Date: Jul 2009 Location: sioux city iowa Experience: Intermediate |
