acer aspire desktop running on vista.

every time i try to repeat a key it wont repeat without a few seconds delay. it definiately has a rhythm to it. also a beep can be heard every time a key is pressed

I know for a fact this isnt a keyboard problem as have tried 2 different keyboards with the same results. the first being wired the second wireless.

already tried the control-keyboard commands and set it like any default keyboard but still have the same problem.

looking for solutions i come a cross a bios word? dont know if its this or how to access it.

im thinking its some sort of registry issue but have a few programe and none of them have done anything about it.

any helps grateful
