Solved: Vista SP1
Having installed Vista SP1 - as a pre-requisite to installing SP2 - I have lost my on-board sound ( Asrock Motherboard). I've done all the usual Control Panel tweaks, downloaded updated drivers from Realtech and lots more besides, all to no avail. Would installing SP2 work ? Or is it give up and do a System Restore ?

Thanks, Lisa - sorry, I just realised it sounded like I was boasting, whereas it was more luck than skill - I'd previously tried three times to install SP1 and had to do the dreaded System Restore each time to regain my sound

Regards,

Mike
