No sound after hibernation
Hi, ive just done a "clean" install of vista, as the old one was well clogged up. and since ive done it there is no sound after its woken up from hibernation.

in the corner where the volume thing is, you can see that the computer is making noises (the bar is going up and down when music for example is playing) but nothing is coming from the speakers. In device manager it says that the device is working correctly, even when i disable/enable or unistall/install it still does not work work.

The only thing that cures it is turning the whole computer off and on again. Hibernation worked perfectly on the last install of vista (i use the hibernation function all the time) so why is it not working now??

cheers
sam

The first thing I would try to fix the issue is to update the audio driver for the PC.
