Every time I run a simple flash game / video my computer slows right down and the cpu usage hits 100%. The computer runs fast and smoothly the rest of the time.

I have an Acer Travelmate 5510 with:
AMD turion 64x2 Mobile technology TL-56 (1.8ghz, 2 x 512KM cache) 2GB DDR2 RAM, 258 ATI radeon Xpress 110 hypermemory graphics card. My internet connection is not an issue and I am not using wireless.

I have recently tried reinstalling windows. The problem seems to have been since I got the laptop or as long as I can remember.

Please please someone help !!
