Question Solved: Can I install Vista on 2nd partition?
Hello,

Will it work if I have a 250GB hard drive with these partitions:

Partition 1: 125GB with no OS installed
Partition 2: 125GB with Vista installed

Basically, can vista be installed on the second partition physically?

Thank you.
Could anyone else confirm this? (It would really suck if I lost all my data)

Always run your regular backup routine before making major system changes.

You can dual boot with two Vista installations. I assume you already have the required two licenses.

Yes, you can install an operating system, including Vista, to whatever partition you choose (provided the format is compatible and the size is sufficient).

You can also make a mistake and install to an unintended partition, so be careful.
