I have always just had the virus vault emptied. Have never had a problem doing so.
I know some people leave the vault finds there for a few days...

Kenny:

I suggest that you keep the C:\Users\Kenny\AppData\Local\Temp folder emptied out on a regular basis.

Everything inside that Temp folder is junk, and it's a good place for a "nasty" to hide.

Restart your computer before you empty it. If a few files resist getting deleted, leave them there and delete everything else.
