hello Ishildebrand & welcome

when you put mem card in does autoplay open ??

if yes then select Open Folder To View Files

if no then go to start>control panel>autoplay select pictures to ask you everytime..click the save buttun (bottom right)

that way you can choose only the pics you want to import.

good luck hope this is what you need!!

Insert the card, find the drive in My Computer.
Navigate to the folder with the images (DCIM?)
Delete them all.
Get Picasa and use the import feature, which will allow you to choose more selectively.
