Hi am arin and am new to this forum. I heard good things about this site and how you guys almost solve every issue related to pc's, so i thought maybe you guys can help me as well :]. The past week my computer had been really awesome, the speed of internet was great (i have highspeed internet by the way). But now, all of a sudden the speed is incredibly slow, and when i play games my ping is really high. How can i solve this issue? Please help me, thank you so much.

*If you need any information about my pc please tell me what you need ill post them right away*

hello & welcome to TG Forum.
1. A product information page for your computer, if made by a big box company.

2. If not a big box PC:
ram, # of sticks, speed, # GB
CPU: brand, model, model #, speed, # of cores
motherboard: brand, model, model #

3. Router brand, model, model #

4. Go to www.dslreports.com/speedtest
Run speedtest.
Report your upload & download speeds

5. Which high speed?
Cable, DSL, satellite, other?

6. Which Firewall is installed on your computer. Hopefully you have 1 and only 1 FW installed.

7. Go here. http://download.cnet.com/Trend-Micro...-10227353.html
Download & install HiJack This
Open HJT

Then, go here, http://www.whatthetech.com/hijackthis/
read "How to generate a startup log file"
follow the steps.
Post the results in a reply at this thread.

8. Which Vista? 32 or 64 bit? Which service pack?
