Question Vista Download Problems
A friend of mine just bought a laptop with Vista Home Premium on it. It came with a 60 day trial of Norton Antivirus which expired yesterday, so she wanted to download a new 30 day trial of McAfee, because they are planning on switching to comcast..... Anyway, the file downloads, but when we hit the run button, a little window comes up saying that there is no connection to the web. It does this when we tried to download a new norton av too. We have read a TON of forums and noting that was suggested worked. The firewall was temporarily turned off. Please help, we are EXTREMELY frustrated. It seems that nothing can be downloaded..........

This may be a newer version of Symantec's Norton Removal Tool?
