Hi,

Hoping you can help.

Just set up my computer (not this one) that has been in storage for about 3 months whilst decorating.

I've downloaded all the updates etc then restarted but I can't log back in. I get the welcome for about 10 seconds then it says username or password incorrect.

What has happened? there is no password reminder and when I click the reset it says I can only reset if I created a Password Reset Disk, which of course I didn't.

What options do I have? - I'm convinced I'm entering the correct password.

I know this is the Vista forum, but just in case you actually have XP try to boot into Safe Mode.
