I have just installed vista on my ibm thinkpad t21 and now i cant get on the internet can anyone help?

have you installed all the drivers and set up the network connection
Drivers - if availble for that machine in vista - will be on the IBM website - under support or driver downloads

details of Modem/Router make and model
how connected - wireless , cable, usb

Post back the results in device manager
Start > control Panel {Vista set to classic view}> system > {Vista, device manager on left hand side} {XP hardware Tab, device manager button} > network adaptors, click on the + > post back the devices listed there
