Solved: issue with TEMP user after Vista repair
I am running Vista Ultimate on a desk top machine. Last night I was in the process of doing an online registration on an anti-virus program I installed. Exlporer hung up and the only way I could get control was to turn off my machine. When it came back on it said windows failed to load because the registry was corrupt or missing. I put in the original install disk and told it to repair and everything seemed to go well but now when I reboot Vista says it couldn't load my user profile and is using a temp profile and any changes will be lost when I reboot. Anyone have any ideas how I can re-associate my user profile?

Thanks Joeten, I was kind of hoping to avoid creating a new user but I guess that was the only solution. I took care of it yesterday evening and my computer is up and running mostly normal. Thanks again.
