I can't uninstall or re-install my internet security for 3 computers
I have done the same thing and AVG support is a joke. I can't uninstall or re-install my internet security for 3 computers. I get an error message that says Error@AVGErrorCode_oxo253%="C\Profram Files (x86)AVG\AVG8"AVG Error Code_oxoo2oo and I don't know how to work the registry . so I'm really stuck. I have to go online with no security. The icon is on the desktop but it won't open. I can't uninstall to re-install so how did you find a solution?

Sorry Joetens,I am new to this line and so frustrated that I'm grabbing at straws. I just backed up my entire OS almost and finally see a note from AVG. I'll try not to step on your toes in the future.

Hi your not stepping on my toes not at all it is just not the way things are done, have you tried to do a system restore then uninstall,or try the removal tool http://www.avg.com/us-en/download-tools other tools you can try are revo uninstaller http://www.google.co.uk/url?q=http:/...bPTQ6_fOLhYCPw
there are help files on the website on how to use it and also ccleaner but please do not use the reg cleaner on your machine it can cause problems and is not reccomended http://www.ccleaner.com/download
