vista hangs for about 10-15 seconds after boot...
Hello,

I have a very irritating problem. Vista 32 bit Home Premium hangs for about 10-15 seconds after boot, just like in this old thread - http://forums.techguy.org/windows-vi...0-seconds.html. And sometimes Windows Audio Service does not want to load because of it, and some icons in tray too.

I have tried EVERYTHING. I have disabled crap using msconfig.exe and services.msc. My Vista is as clean as possible. No spyware, viruses.*I have updated every hardware in my HP Pavillion dv5 1070ew and even BIOS.

I think it started in January, after some updates.

Can You help me?

Adam.

I had a similar problem also in Vista, wound up being my AVG antivirus, updated it to version 9, no more problems. Not sure if this applies to you or not.

I use Avast. But I have removed it few times in the past to see if it's Avast's fault and... it is not.
