Angry Absolutely Unable..remove 0 byte file
A zero byte file on desktop with icon. Unable to rename, delete, move, send to anywhere. Says, "file does not exist on desktop" and unable to locate the file on disk.
This Icon MUST be somewhere in the system relating to desktop. The file in question did not have a suffix and I am unable to add one.
HELP PLEASE.hope to remove icon))))

Run a chkdsk on the drive.

http://www.winvistatips.com/vista-chkdsk-t126028.html

Once this is done, try to delete the icon if it is still there.

hello

If that dont work. this is a handy tool it unlocks any file and lets you delete them.
once installed just right click on file and choose unlocker. http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/#download
