Can't use program I was able to use before.
I was trying to use a program that in the past I was able to use and suddenly I received this error message:

"The application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way"

I'm using Vista 32. If you need any additional information about my system I'll provide it. Help please.

I am sorry, but you really will have to give us the name of the program you refer to.

There are many older programs that are "not supported" by Vista, yet they run.
But Windows updates do not have to continue to support the library files for programs that are not supported, so at some stage they may indeed stop working.

But more info as to the program would certainly help.

First I got the message with windows live messenger after it updated and now I can't use Roxio creator basic 9, the DvD maker. I read that it was some kind of visual C++ error.
