No sound
I recently used instruction from techangel to reinstal Flash player and it has worked, but unfortunately I now have NO sound at all. When I check under Device Manager - sound -there is a yellow triangle with exclamation mark against ADS Instant HDTV PCI, does this mean I need to reinstall the driver, and if so please can you tell me where to get it. I have googled it but it throws up programs to download at a cost of £19.99 for any drivers needed. I do not feel I need this I only want my sound back.

If you could help I would be very grateful. My system is a Toshiba Satellite working with Vista Home Premium.

Kind regars

hello
the 1st thing to try is to update drivers. go to where the yellow ex marks are in D.M. right click on it. it should give you an option to update driver.

if that dont work try to uninstall it. (same way right click choose uninstall) then reboot and let windows reinstall. (automatic)

if that dont work post back with more info. (model # & sound mfg. i.e realtek, bose, whoever)

good luck

Still no sound
Hi kenny,

I have done as you said and tried to update, but that didn't work so I have uninstalled it. But after switching back on the machine has not found it automatically.

The programme was called ADS Instant HDTV PCI, just unsure what else you need to know?

Looking forward to your reply.
