Help!
i got a problem today i tried accessing my laptop Vaio and suddenly the black screen pops up saying Normal Reboot or repair computer? i didn't know what was wrong? so i tried normal boot and it didn't work brought me back to the exact screen so i tried repair computer it gave me the following options
-
- Hardware Diagnostics
- Restore C:
- Restore Complete System
- Rescue Data

anyway i tried clicking any of the 1,3,4th options all it does is give me a screen with the exact same options i haven't already chosen so i click one and so on it brings me back to the normal options screen :S?? weard but i don't know what to do. Ive tried to boot via cmd promt and it wont allow me i havent got the original CD it came with so any ideas that might help?
Thankss get back ASAP! URGANT!

Download and burn this ISO file as an image to CD, this is a Vista recovery environment CD,

boot from the CD and choose "repair my computer" then select command prompt, once you are at the cmd prompt, type in the following and hit enter, let chkdsk run to completion, restart the PC and see if it will boot.

chkdsk /f C:
