I have an Asire Aspire Desktop model E700 MMX1 running Windows Vista and the bloody thing turns itself off without warning - I have bounced through a couple of forums and traced an issue with the tuner in Media Centre, but turning the service off has had no effect - I have also cleaned out all the dust from the box (just in case) - also no luck. In the Event Viewer it logs Event id 6008 saying the 'shutdown was unexpected' - but no further info can be found online. This happens when the only thing running is the screen saver (Seti at home - however I have turned it off and it still shuts down) as well as when I am running multiple programs. Please help. I have attached the details of the error in the hope it helps (all gobledeegoop to me)
