Monitor Display Problems
Just lately I have made my computer into a dual boot system with Vista 32-Bit Home Premium and also Windows 7 Ultimate.

Everything seems to be running fine, But the problem that I have just started experiencing is with the way that certain applications and mainly games are displayed.

Everything was ok until I recently installed a game which asked me for display settings and I let it choose automatically what it thought would be optimal settings and everything ran fine.

When I went to run some of my other games, Both old and new ones they seem to be displayed in the centre of the screen in very high resolution but way too small to be able to play them, some applications also open up like this as well.

I have tried altering the resolution settings from control panel and from the personalize menu on the windows desktop, but the games still seem to open up as if they are windowed but they are not windowed at all it is just stupidly small as mentioned above.

I have read somewhere that this is an actual problem with win7, but surely there must be a workaround for this problem.

Could it be that windows 7 is using a generic video card driver for my GeForce 8400 Graphics Card or is it something much more trivial ??

The problem mainly happens when I am using Windows 7,But it has also started to happen when I am using certain games within Windows Vista now and it is very annoying as I cannot seem to find a cure for it.

Any help that you can give me will be very well appreciated.

I look forward to hearing from someone very soon.

Many Thanks for taking the time to read through my problems.
