I don't think that error is any useful clue. This error event commonly occurs because you are using a Windows Vista configuration that does not have and that does not require a security package for HTTP service authentication.

Many event logs will contain that error all over the world, so we need to look further into the cause of the crash.

The word "crash" can signify all sorts of events, from a lock-up, restart, power off cold start etc.

What is the nature of your "crash"?

Red face pc crashes
thank you kiwiguy for our promp reply

no matter what i am doing on the pc whether it be on the internet or offline after switching on pc a few hours later the screen goes blank no mouse or keyboard but the pc is still running have to restart from the on off switch on pc the when the screen comes up it asks if i want to start windows nomally then when i do get it back on it tells me that the last session ended unexpectently and either restore last session or go to home page but anything i have been working on is lost i have checked the event log and this code coinecides with the time of the crashes as i say i am a novice with computers and i need help badly iwould also like to know if this is an inherent fault with the vista premium system thanks
