blurred line s on my laptopon start up
any one know whats causing the blurred line s on my toshiba laptop ,,
i cant use it at the moment as the curser is not responding to my commands on the touch pad , tried taking out the battery and leaving it out for a while , still the same

Hi try getting a driver update for you video card and if needed your touchpad from toshibas support website for your make and model

Boot into safe mode (only basic Windows drivers are used)
It will be horribly low resolution but that wull tell you if the issue(s) are hardware or software. If you get a low resolution Safe Mode screen, then the hardware is OK, otherwise you are looking at a motherboard fault

when dose the line come up because it might be a hardware problem (the screens f*****)
or just a wire is out a little <--- thats rare

may be a corrupted file when windows is starting up

thanks guys , its after solving it self through a window s vista help programme, i still dont know what actually caused it , but it s ok for now any way so thanks again for your replys

hi joeten, my laptop wont start up in safe mode , and the screen is all blurred so cant see the writing at all , its a vista machine , no access to the pointer either , had this prob before and it cleared it self but no joy this time , any idea s will be welcome

Hi a driver update may be all that is needed,however you may need to try a repair from your install or recovery disc if it wont boot to your desktop
