I need to uninstall Office 2007 and reinstall....
Dear Tech Support Guy,

I need to uninstall Office 2007 and reinstall my Office XP Standard on my new 'puter with Vista. Do I need to save the files in My Documents somewhere else for safety or is that an issue? Will this cause problems?

Also, I need to leave my Outlook 2007 on the machine (added on at great expense and trouble, so I don't want to change it). Will I have problems doing so? I notice that Office XP has MS Outlook in the package. Will I need to automatically load it or will I have chance to have it not load? It has been a few years since I used the install program.

I can't screw up here because we need this computer for school grades and creating homework for our students.

Thanks,

J Vance

you should make a back up by default anyway -

How many machines and what licences of office do you have?

when you install office - you get a number of options on which products to install and how much of each product
