running in safe mode
i'm running windows vista on a lenovo.

my computer was always busy and seemed very sluggish, so i used the lenovo tool called rejuvenate. it took my computer back to 2007. that was fine with me. but i now have drivers it can't find, and it calls the devices unknown so i have no idea what to look for. i can't use IE accept in safe mode, and i can't install 8 without windows update. i can't use windows update it no longer works. i can't open any browser if i leave safe mode and the computer is still busy all the time in regular mode. i also can't look at the system in control panel either i have no idea if i even still have sp1 or sp2. i'm at a loss for what to do.
