hiya buddy not sure if this will work but give it a shot,go to Contol panel>Personalization, click on Change desktop icons highlight the user folder(yours should be Tea) then click on Restore Default,it may put the name back good luck mate, will keep searching if that does not work

if that don't work, change your user name (i just did it so i know it works)

start click the little picture (above username) then click "change account name" may take a reboot to take affect!!

Hi kenny .. my UAC is disabled and i have mentioned before that i tried changing my username ... although it should affect the folder name .. but in this case its not working ... and yes i did reboot many times. I am suspecting that this has sumthing to with the registry

hello
have a look ...HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Volatile Environment

click on it see what it says... (back up the registry) then right click on each one in the right pane and modify the name to whatever you want.... very important to back up first,(create a restore point) good luck...

nope .. all of the registries in "Volatile Environment" have data values like "toshiba" and my username .. i cant find anything called tea there ... however i did a small search (keywords: tea) in the registry editor and found a registry with a data value "tea" .... i renamed it to my username ... i was hoping that this would take effect after a reboot but nothing seemed to have changed
