Hi, i have a big problem with the titles of the games below. As can you see the titles won't show in medium icons but they show on Titles, List and Details View and I can't figure out how to solve this problem.

Maybe it works the same as on XP.
Click, View, Details.
Now, hold the Shift key down, and click View, Icons.

Or try this:http://www.joejoe.org/forum/topic/91...nu-of-folders/

Make sure you choose View on the Menu bar, not the Views selector.
Present in both Vista Home Basic and Ultimate. Don't know about Vista Starter though.

You can also right click a blank area in the folder, point to View, and check or uncheck Hide File Names

I'm afraid this method applies only in a photo folder but this folder cannot be changed, so no Hide File Names.

but this folder cannot be changed
Is that because you need to have it set at the type it is? What type is it?

Try the shift key a few times. Change to details. Open another folder. Change back to your folder. Hold 'Shift' while clicking View, Icons.

Just editing the registry doesn't seem to restore the file names, but using the shift key as Moper suggest does, but it's picky about the exact steps. This worked for me:

Click Views and select Details
Hold down SHIFT and click Views and select Medium Icons. Release the SHIFT key
Switch to another folder, then switch back.

ok this problem is solved but just another question. how do I make my Games folder remember to arrange the icons by Name. I pressed and my games were arranged but when I reopen the folder they are arranged in other way, maybe by Publisher.

It seems that this has been a problem with Windows for years.

Maybe some tips here:http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/70...-settings.html
