Have you checked in Device Manager and Expanded Network Adapters and see that the wireless adapter is there

Check in Services and see if it is started ....or Start it.......if it cannot start then click on the Dependencies and make sure they are started

I tried to start services for WLAN AUTOCONFIG and WIRE AUTOCONFIG both gives same error ....Windows could not start: Error 1068 the dependency sevice or group fialed to start....

I also re-install Dell 1395 WLAN Mini-card driver and updated BIOS from 3/10/08 to 12/2/2009...

Still hunting for resolution.... This is a common problem with VISTA hoping we are geting close to a resolution...

Problem resolved: VISTA- Can't start Windows wireless Service .. WLAN won't start.
Resolution- Confirm in Services Properties for WLAN is selected to START Automatically...AND install VISTA SERVICE PACK 1.. installation will take some time to complete and will reboot few times
Wireless is now working
