Solved: BTTRAY: Unable To Start Bluetooth Stack Service
A few days ago I began to receive the above noted error message. The system locked up, more or less, until this message would appear after about 15 minutes.

I have a Dell XPS M1530 with Windows Vista Business, SP2. I do not use bluetooth connectivity between my laptop and external devices.

To resolve this error, I did the following:
  1. Start --> Programs --> Dell Quickset --> Radio Control Options
  2. Click "Advanced Settings" button
  3. Click "Radio Control Options" Tab
  4. Unselect "Bluetooth"
  5. OK --> OK
  6. Click Bluetooth Taskbar Icon --> Disable Bluetooth Devices
I hope this helps because I could not find anything on the Internet with this solution. Hours on the phone with Dell proved, unsurprisingly, to be a waste of time.
